Shampoo: In the shower, wet hair and hands. Scoop a large dime-sized amount of the concentrate onto palm for medium length hair. Rub with water to activate and lather up in very wet hair, building a creamy lather. Rinse well.
PRO TIP: Try a double cleanse if you want to boost the lather - start with a smaller ‘micro-dose’ first (about 1/2 inch) and then follow up with your normal dose - this will help remove extra sebum or product build up.
Deep Conditioner: Scoop a large dime-sized amount of the concentrate onto palm for medium length hair. Rub over wet hands and then spread evenly through very wet hair, working from ends upwards. Rinse well. For a deep conditioning treatment, leave on for 15 minutes before rinsing.
Body Wash: Scoop a large dime-sized amount of the concentrate onto palm. Rub over wet hands to activate or on our Compostable Konjac Sponge and scrub-a-dub, working into skin for 30 seconds for maximum conditioning. Rinse well.
Compostable Konjac Sponge: Just add water and watch this compostable sponge transform into a cushy pillow that creates mounds of bubbles when paired with The Body Wash Concentrates. Rinse with hot water after use. Gently squeeze out excess water. Hang to air dry. Replace and home compost every 2-3 months.

FAQ
For the shampoo, make sure your hair is very wet and to spend the full 30 seconds in the shower standing out of direct water to build up the lather in your hair. You'll feel the lather swell as your hair acts like a loofah! If you're still left wanting more, one tip is to try micro-dosing (like double-cleansing, for your hair). Use a small amount of shampoo first to remove excess oil and go back a second time with a little less than your regular dose of shampoo.
Yes. We don't use any sulfates or other harsh surfactants that can strip color away. Our products are completely safe whether your hair is bleached, dyed, permed or straightened.
Our full-size products come in both tube and tin form, and we do that to ensure everyone can choose what works best for them. If you are a camper, for example, you may prefer a tin that lays flat. You may like that the tube gets smaller with every use! It just depends on what experience you prefer. The amount of product you receive in either format will be the same - everything is weighed out!
Our concentrates are packed with only the pure, active ingredients that your hair and skin needs. A small amount goes a long way. However, it is important to get the right dose for your hair type. Think a 1/2 inch strip for short hair, a 1 (dime-sized amount for tins) inch strip for medium hair and a 1 1/2 inch strip for very long, thick hair. For body, we suggest a 1/2 inch to 1 inch strip. When paired with our Konjac Sponge, a little will go a long way. Adjust dose as needed for optimal lather. The WOW moment really comes once hair and skin is dry, so we suggest testing a few times to get your dose just right!
I just completed the 30 wash challenge and I really love this shampoo and conditioner! My hair is so soft and i have no splits. I think it is growing faster too!
I was using salon products before and was happy, but they discontinued my favorite line, so it was back to the drawing board. I am impressed with Everist, even after the first wash! It's way less money than the Aveda products I was using before. It did take several washes for me to get the hang of it... the quantity I need and how much water to add (hint: a LOT). I don't love how the shampoo feels after washing out (a bit... sticky or something?) but once you finish with the conditioner, your hair feels like a dream. So silky. I can now go 2 days in between washes and my hair looks great. I think some of those wiry grays are maybe relaxing which is nice. My hair also holds curl better (my hair is stick straight). Before, my hair would get greasy the day after washing and be totally limp halfway through that day. Everist has calmed all that down and my hair looks great until Day 3, a major improvement as I don't love styling my hair every single day. Stocking up again now.
I do wish there were other scents, I would love a less citrusy one. More of a eucalyptus/lemongrass/lavender vs bergamot, although I do like the smell and bergamot is supposed to be good for lifting moods! Overall very happy.
My hair is softer and less frizzy, and my scalp is not itchy or flaky. I'd say that is a win! ( FYI, the tins are easier to manage than the tubes both in my wet hands and on the shower shelf. My arthritic hands thank me for the tins)
I have baby fine, straight hair and it's hard to find products that don't weigh it down. Everist shampoo and conditioner leave my hair feeling clean and light and it feels so good knowing I'm not putting chemicals and garbage on my skin and hair. I've used the products exclusively for a month and I'm so pleased with how my body, hair and scalp feel--it's the middle of winter and I don't have any dryness. I do a double shampoo, a small amount the first time and then a second shampoo with a similar amount and it lathers really nicely the second time. I like the packaging, I'm not sure if I'd prefer the tins or tubes...but both are really quality and love the repurposing you can do with the empty tin after.

I was going through postpartum hair so my shower was constantly filled with hair that was falling out. After a couple of uses, the hair shedding visibly lessened and I could see my hair getting thicker. Those baby hairs are finally growing out!
