Rub wet hands together to spread the formula and 'activate'.

For the shampoo, make sure your hair is very wet and to spend the full 30 seconds in the shower standing out of direct water to build up the lather in your hair. Use a small amount of shampoo first to remove excess oil and go back a second time with a little less than your regular dose of shampoo.

Think a 1/2 inch strip for short hair, a 1 (dime-sized amount for tins) inch strip for medium hair and a 1 1/2 inch strip for very long, thick hair.

Our full-size products come in both tube and tin form, and we do that to ensure everyone can choose what works best for them. If you are a camper, for example, you may prefer a tin that lays flat.
