CDMX: What I Packed And Where I Went

Reminiscing on my recent stay in Mexico City… I’ve had the pleasure of returning and time after time it remains at the top of my list. It’s beautiful and filled with nature, has an incredible art scene, mind blowing food, and is so full of life. Let’s break down what I brought and some of my picks.
I like to travel light, so here’s what came with me in my carry-on:
- Our Shampoo and Conditioner of course (biased, but I can’t live without them)
- The Exfoliating Body Wash Concentrate to scrub off the day + Claw Clip and Travel Pouch for on the go
- Paume Hand Sanitizer, 8 Faces all over solid oil, and the current lip oil in rotation
- A good pair of sneakers
- One staple skirt, a couple of pants, and a variety of tops (yes, I’m an outfit repeater!)
A few notable things to add to your itinerary:
- Conjunto Satélite (see the work of a famous Mexican architect)
- Casa Azul Frida Kahlo Museum (I adore her art and life story so this was worth the hype for me!)
- Walk around roma and condesa (hubs for a mix of dining, cafes, things to see – will keep you busy all day)
- A tianguis (there are tons of great street markets with amazing food, antiques, and more)
It goes without saying that Mexico City has an incredible food scene, so it’s hard to name just a few of my favourites. But here are a handful of spots that are so good they need to be shared:
- BUNA (huge cafe in a big open air space with other cool vendors)
- Lolo (a cute magazine stand with great drinks – grab a chai!)
- San さん (japanese inspired cafe with snacks and good matcha, and the owners are the sweetest)
- El Compita (one of my fav taco places to date)
- Comal Oculto (shoulder to shoulder seating and known for great Mole dishes)
Already plotting my return x
