What makes Everist different than traditional haircare? Everything.

Most shampoos and conditioners are more than 70% water, made from petrochemicals and packed in single-use plastic. Everist is haircare meets skincare. We took out the water, packed in the skincare ingredients and concentrated our formulas down into luxe creams to make haircare that is better for the planet and amazing for your hair and scalp. With more than 30% glycerin and 40% aloe vera in the Deep Conditioner (Cosmopolitan's Best Clean Conditioner!), these first-of-their-kind concentrates deliver powerful results.

Long-term Everist users report hair with more shine, body and less hair fall since adopting their Everist routine. They also love the refreshing herbal-citrus blend of essential oils that we use instead of synthetic fragrances, including rosemary and peppermint which stimulate the scalp and support healthy hair growth.

"I’ve noticed less hair fall and more manageability. It’s also great that these products don’t make me itch either scalp or body as I am very sensitive to almost everything. Very super pleased with these products. Oh - and they last a long time, another bonus." – Ula

Everist formulas are color-safe and great for all hair types, utilising a patented, all natural, bond-repair technology to strengthen and visibly repair hair. This starter kit includes two ultra-clean formulas: a shampoo that gives a satisfying cleanse and a luxurious lather, and a deep conditioner that can be used daily to give excellent smoothing, hydration and detangling.

Perfect for an on-the-go lifestyle, our 3x concentrated aluminum tubes are compact to throw directly into your carry-on or gym bag. It's time to stop paying for water and see how clean, skincare-packed formulas can transform the health of your hair.

How to Use Everist

Shampoo Concentrate: In the shower, wet hair and hands. Place metal tube key provided over top of tube and roll down gently to dispense a 1 inch strip of the concentrate (1/3 your normal dose). Rub over wet hands to activate and lather up in very wet hair, building a creamy lather. Rinse well. Adjust dose as needed.

Deep Conditioning Concentrate: Dispense a 1 inch strip of the concentrate, rub over wet hands and then spread evenly through very wet hair, working from ends upwards. Rinse well. For a deep conditioning treatment, leave on for 15 minutes before rinsing.

Impact
Based on a third-party assessment by Bluebird Climate, Everist Shampoo and Deep Conditioner have a 77% smaller carbon impact and a 62% smaller waste impact than traditional water-filled shampoos and conditioners packaged in a plastic bottle.
Product Afterlife
Empty aluminum tubes, rinse, bunch up and recycle. Bunch with other aluminum (foil, pie plates, etc.) for maximum likelihood to be collected. Rinse cap clean and return to us (details here). Recycle kraft paper carton.
Ingredients

The Good Stuff

Only the pure, active ingredients your hair needs.

+   Aloe Vera. Packed with vitamin A, C and E to condition hair and soothe the scalp.

+   Vegetable Glycerin. Effective moisturizer and humectant to reduce frizz and strengthen hair.

+   Peppermint Oil. Improves scalp health and circulation, helping to eliminate dandruff and stimulate hair growth.

+   Rosemary Oil. Nourishes dry hair follicles, improving both hair thickness and growth.

Need to Know

Our Top Tips

+ The tube key is a must. Place the top of the aluminum tube through the zero-waste tube key. Twist gently to start. The formula might be a bit excited to see you.

+ Experiment with your dose. A little goes a long way. Think a 1/2 inch strip for short hair, a 1 inch strip for mid-length hair and a 1 1/2 inch strip for very long, thick hair. Adjust as needed.

+ Make sure hair is very wet. Soaked, even. Wet hair acts like a loofah to easily build up the shampoo lather and activate the formulas.

Mindfully Created

Thoughtfully Made

+  pH balanced. The oils on our hair and scalp are naturally acidic (between 4.5-5.5) which prevents bacteria growth and leaves the hair cuticle closed and healthy. Many hair products disrupt our natural pH level leaving hair dry, brittle and prone to dandruff. We believe that healthy hair is happy hair and design our products for the optimal pH.

+  No single-use plastic. You don’t use your favourite products for 425 years, so why should their packaging live that long? Plastic eventually degrades into microplastic (petroleum bits) entering our water and food supply and finally our bodies. It’s time to put an end to plastic waste and embrace other materials such as aluminum that can be easily recycled and safely reused again and again.

Love this product!

It took a little bit of experimentation to get used to using this product. But once I got the amount of product to water ratio right, I'm obsessed. I love the smell and my hair has never been healthier. I recommend this to any and everyone!

So grateful for your recommendations Millie, thank you! :)

👍🏼🫧

Was so excited to try everist, feeling frustrated with several different brands of shampoo bar.

It took me a few tries to figure out the right amount of shampoo concentrate to use and lather up, but now I’m loving it and able to use less with each wash. Will def be signing up for the subscription.

The products smell amazing and my hair feels clean and soft. I have a ✨touchy✨ scalp that can get irritated by some products, but I’ve had no issues with everist.
I think the deep conditioning concentrate (red cap) might be a little heavy for my long 2A/2B hair, but I’m excited to try the conditioner with the yellow cap instead. (I might keep the deep conditioner in my routine regardless, because it makes an amazing shave balm!)

Lastly, as an added bonus, the tubes look so neat and tidy together in the shower!

Thank you so much for this detailed review Amanda! So glad to hear Everist works for your sensitive scalp. Yes - try the Deep Conditioner for your ends only, or the yellow/orange one if you want something very light that doesn't way your hair down. We'd love to have you be part of our Eco-Optimist Club (subscription)! :

A little goes a long way

As advertised, the shampoo and conditioner are very concentrated. Do NOT turn the tube key very far when using. Just taking off the cap will allow product to flow, because it is under pressure in the tube. I have long, thick hair, and a dollop of shampoo about the size of a kidney bean turns into plenty of lather. My hair feels squeaky clean after I wash it with this shampoo, and the conditioner does a nice job of smoothing.

Awesome Sue - thank you so much for the review and for sharing your tips!

Nice!

Getting ready to place another order! I love the ingredient list. It’s easy to use and my hair feels hydrated, although I do have to use a bit more than an inch for my shoulder length hair.

We love it when people appreciate all the hard work we put into our ingredient lists! :) Thanks so much for the review Nicole!

Love!

I follow the Curly Girl Method (CGM) and have 2C/3A curls with normal porosity though my hair does enjoy protein regularly. I am SO IMPRESSED with Everist's shampoo and conditioner! It's not harsh on my sensitive scalp (I get really itchy scalp if anything has surfactants) and my hair is so silky with the conditioner! I've even been using this with my kids (they both have long hair). No more knots! Superb!
